Governor Perdue visits Sany facility in China

Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue met today in Beijing, China with Chairman Liang Wengen, the head of Sany Heavy Industry Group, parent company of one of Fayette County’s newest corporate citizens, Sany America. The visit was part of Governor Perdue’s trade mission to China which is occurring March 30 through April 5, 2008.

Governor Perdue (far right) is greeted by Chairman Liang Wengen of Sany Heavy Machine Co., Ltd., upon his arrival at company headquarters just outside Beijing.

Following the conclusion of the arrival ceremony, Governor Perdue ceremonially paints the lion’s eye.
