FCDA Hiring for Business Retention & Expansion Manager
According to economics firm Blane, Canada, Ltd, 76% of an average suburban local economy’s new jobs and investment comes from existing businesses.
In an effort to strengthen our existing local businesses, helping them to become more competitive and remain and grow in Fayette County, the FCDA is establishing a new position for a Manager of a new Business Retention and Expansion Program. This position will help guide FCDA activities with existing industries and businesses, the key entities involved in the regular, ongoing growth of our local economy.
To create this program, we have entered into a partnership with Peachtree City, the largest of Fayette County’s five municipalities and home to our largest areas of industrial and corporate office facilities. We will be reporting back to the City on how their economy is changing as well as what we as a team can do to support and grow our local businesses.
We expect to complete the hiring of this position by the end of March, allowing us to officially start the program up in April. If you are a local business or industry and would like to be one of the first companies called on, please contact us today and let us know. This position will be here to serve you!
