Partners for Success Grant Program

The Fayette County Development Authority reinvests in Fayette County through competitive grants that fund infrastructure, workforce development, tourism, job creation, and more. Helping our community stay competitive and thriving.

About the Program

The Fayette County Development Authority administers the Partners for Success Grant Program to deploy capital strategically into projects that strengthen Fayette County’s economic vitality, quality of life, and long-term competitiveness.

Grants are awarded on a competitive basis through two funding cycles per fiscal year. Dates are set by the FCDA Board. All projects must advance economic development, meet the “but for” test, leverage FCDA funds through a required match, and be specific, project-based initiatives — not general operating support. The 2026 Deadline is August 7, 2026 5:00pm EST.

1:1 Match Required. FCDA funding may cover up to 50% of total project costs. Applicants must provide a minimum 50% match from eligible sources including cash, donations, or approved in-kind contributions.

Who Can Apply

Three applicant categories are eligible. Maximum grant amounts apply per category, per year.

Minimum Qualifications: All applicants must be in compliance with State of Georgia audit requirements and may not have more than one open FCDA grant at a time. Not sure if your organization qualifies? Contact FCDA before applying — eligibility does not guarantee funding.

Eligible Project Types

The FCDA funds a broad range of projects that contribute to economic development, including:

Grant funds may not be used for ongoing operational expenses, routine maintenance, projects already completed or fully funded, debt service, or activities outside Fayette County. Contact FCDA if you have questions about project eligibility.
